In 2015, during a vacation in the Douro, we visited the Douro Museum, in the city of Peso da Régua.
A very well organized space that keeps and preserves the memory and identity of the wine region.
The fascination that this region provokes and the lived experiences have awakened in us the will to create something related to wines.
Little did we know that by the end of 2016, a year later, through our brand of illustration, a wine producer would be invited to create a label for a new brand that would emerge in 2017, the “Fire Guard.”
As the name is associated with Tanoaria, we decided to pay homage to this ancestral art using the figure of the cooper.
Douro was produced by Quinta de Cottas with the traditional Douro vine varieties, with an intense ruby color with violet tones and an intense aroma of red fruits. In addition to the 1-liter bottle, a special edition “Magnum” (1.5 l) was launched in partnership with Jornal de Notícias to mark Father’s Day.
You can find this wine in specialty shops and this special edition in newsstands between March 13 and April 17, 2017.
